Bonnie Rose Gilliam

Bonnie Rose Gilliam, age 74 of Clarkesville, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016.

Born in Habersham County on March 17, 1941, she was a daughter of the late L.C. and Myrtle Smalls Gilliam. Miss Gilliam was formerly employed with Clarkesville Mill and Burger King and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Clarkesville.  She enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with her family.  She loved God and supported her church and church family.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son, Curtis R. Pruitt; brother, Larry Gilliam; sister, Bertie Jackson.

Surviving are son and fiancée, Johnny Gilliam and Pamela Osborne of Cornelia; daughter and fiancé, Beverly Gilliam and Leo Nunez of Cornelia; grandchildren, Daricus Pruitt of Jonesboro, Georgia, Azyah Gilliam of Cornelia and Alarrika McMillan of Cornelia; several nieces and  nephews; a host of family and friends; her Mt. Pleasant Church family.

Memorial services are 1 pm Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Clarkesville with Rev. Billy Joe Jenkins, Jr., Rev. Floyd Means, Rev. Billy Joe Jenkins, Sr. and Pastor Cynseria Jenkins officiating.
