Edward Henry Rowe

January 7th 2016, it was on this very day that the heavens opened up and God himself reached down his hands and welcomed home an angel.  Edward Henry Rowe was born April 25 1928 to Margaret Elizabeth Credle and Robert Folkes Rowe Sr. in Porthsmouth, Virgina.  Edward proved  that angels do walk among us.  His love and devotion could be seen not only in his personal life in his selfless acts but professionally, in his work as a chemical engineer developing technology that would improve the quality of human life and preserve our planet.   The world is truly a better place because of him.  He touched the hearts of everyone he met.  Edward enjoyed writing, singing, dancing and of course volunteering. It is with tears in our eyes and a hole in our heart that we must say goodbye to the man who filled so many shoes.

Edward Rowe was welcomed home on January 7th by his parents, brother Robert Jr., niece Sandra, great-niece Tabitha, great-nephews Edward and Dominick, and his beloved dachshund Brandon. 

He is survived by his nephews Robert F. III and Paul M., niece Jolyn, great nieces and nephews, and many great- great nieces and nephews and the countless others that he has touched.
