Marcus V. Whitlock, age 81 of Commerce, GA passed away Friday Dec. 11, 2015.
Mr. Whitlock was the son of the late Alton and Phoebe Carden Whitlock. He was a terminal trucking manager in Commerce, GA.
Survivors include his wife, Ola Charlene Brown Whitlock of the residence; son, Charles Whitlock, Woodstock; two daughters, Linda W. Mize, Commerce, Lesa W. Hayes, Commerce; two brothers, Ronnie Whitlock, Senoia, Larry Whitlock, Duluth; sister, Mary Dettmering, Fayetteville; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2 pm Monday Dec. 14, 2015 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel, Commerce with the Rev. Ronnie Whitlock, Dr. Carlton Allen and Wes Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Sunday Dec. 13, 2015 at the funeral home.
