Jimmy Ray Blalock

Jimmy Ray Blalock age 70, of Sautee Nacoochee passed away Saturday October 31, 2015. 

Mr. Blalock was born in White County the son of the late J.W. and Willie Mae Turner Blalock.  He was preceded in death by brothers, Ted Blalock, Lamar Blalock and David Blalock.  Mr. Blalock worked most of his life in the grocery business where he had worked most recently with Ingles and Adams IGA.  He was a member of Cleveland Worship Center. 

Survivors include his wife, Janet Ruth Blalock; sons and daughters in law, Jay and Kelli Blalock, Steve and Tammy Blalock, Mike and Crystal Blalock; grandchildren, Kelan Blalock, Allison Blalock, Jade Blalock, Alex Blalock, Courtney Blalock; step daughter and son in law, Tracy and Scott Sheridan; step grandchild, Hayden Sheridan; brother and sister in law, Mitchell and Sharon Blalock; sister and brother in law, Regina and Harold Lovell. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday November 3, 2015 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Marc Turner, the Rev. Wayne Lovell and the Rev. Keith Phagan will officiate. 

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
