Betty Sue Robinson Hembree

Betty Sue Robinson Hembree, age 74 of Alto, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at her residence.

Born in Hall County on August 22, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Joe Dan and Gladys Iona McKinney Robinson. Mrs. Hembree was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.  She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by grandchildren, John Gunter, Salina Gunter and Joshua Hoose; brother-in-law, George Dean.

Surviving are daughters and son-in-law, Linda Steinbrecher of Cleveland, Vickie Lynn Pinson Hoose (Dean Davidson) of Alto and Lawonia Sue Pinson of Cleveland; sons and daughter-in-law, Danny Lee Pinson (Tina Pinson) of Arizona and David Jennings Pinson of Alto; grandchildren, Torrey Pinson, Jewelle Pinson, Felicia Chambers, Milton Pinson, Nathanial Pinson, Joshua Pinson, Dustin Hoose, Josh Hoose, Kyle Hoose, Jesse Hoose, Christopher Hoose, Sabrina Hoose, Beth Simpson, Tabitha Pinson, Billy Pinson, Brandon Pinson and Harley Smith; 24 great grandchildren; caregiver/roommate, James Park of Alto; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Jean Robinson of Dahlonega and Robert and Janie Robinson of Gillsville; sisters and brother-in-law, Louise and Harold Whitlow of Dahlonega and Joyce Dean of Gillsville.

Funeral services are 4 pm Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
