Edna Cornelia Burnett Nash

Edna Cornelia Burnett Nash, 83, of Lula passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

                Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Steve Mathis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 21, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

                Mrs. Edna was born on September 29, 1931 in Chamblee, GA to the late Jiles M. Burnett and Clara West Burnett. She was a custodian for Hall County Schools and a member of Free Chapel Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Carl Edward Nash.

                Mrs. Nash is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bennie Ray “Pete” Nash of Lula; son, Eddie “Buster” Nash of Lula; sons and daughters-in-law, Sammy Lee and Wanda Nash of Lula, Harold Franklin and Regina Nash of Banks County, John “Mark” and Renee Nash of Lula; 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Yolanda Nash of Jefferson.
