Joan Cole Simpson, age 65, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015.
She was the daughter of the late, Golden Milton and Sallie Thomas Cole. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joel Cochran (Donna), Oakwood, GA; granddaughter, Wynter Strother, Dacula, GA; grandson, Brian Cole, Monroe, GA; numerous great grandchildren; and sister, Janice Maddox, Sugar Hill, GA. Joan was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She was a very generous and loving person.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Shadburn officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
