Wilda June Owenby Tudor

Mrs. Wilda June Owenby Tudor, age 73 of 1224 Mize Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Habersham County Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Bill and Willene Denton Owenby, she was born September 12, 1941 in Towns County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County.  She was employed with Stephens County School System for 15 years and was a member of Carnesville Church of God.

Survivors include her husband of the home, Johnnie Tudor; two sons and daughter-in-law, Russell and Jessica Tudor of Mt. Airy, Georgia and Terry Tudor of Tococa; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother and sisters in-law, Jerry and Mary Owenby and Jeannie Owenby both of Toccoa; sister and brother-in-law, Regina and Ralph Goss of Toccoa; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, September 11, 2 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Ralph Goss and The Reverend Gary Ledford officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Blake Tudor, Joey Mata, Casey Chambers, Tim Goss, Josh Carswell and Justin Owenby.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 PM to 8 PM and on Friday from noon until the service time.

Interment will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Wilda June Owenby Tudor.
