Joseph Tortorici

Mr. Joseph Tortorici 70, of Gainesville passed away Thursday, August 6, 2015 following an extended illiness.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 9, 2015 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at the funeral home. He was born in Cattolica, Sicily, but lived in Ohio for much of his younger life before moving to Gainesville, GA in 1983 to work with Harris Calorific.

Mr. Tortorici was born July 22, 1945 to the late Anthony and Josephine (Ragusa) Tortorici. He was a member of Saint Michael Catholic Church.

Mr. Tortorici is survived by his wife; Reecene (Cindy) Tortorici,  sons: Joesph Tortorici of Gainesville and Anthony Tortorici of Indiana, daughters and son-in-laws; Kristina (Wesley) Evans of Winder, Catherine (Chris) Kidd of Gainesville. 14 grandchildren; Wesley, Samantha, Cory, Alexis, Hallie, Jessica, Audrey, Kursten, Joseph, Katelyn, Nicole, Blake, Nicolas and Keltzie. 2 great-grandchildren; Triston and Aiden.
