J.W. Wade

Mr. J.W. Wade, age 82, of Lula, GA passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 following an extended illness.

He spent most of his life in Banks County and retired from Coca Cola Company after more than 30 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith.

J.W. was the son of the late William Willis and Mary Martin Wade, and was also preceded in death by his brother, Gene Wade, and sisters, Willie Mae Wilkenson and Monteen Fitzgerald.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy "Dot" Abernathy Wade, Lula, GA; daughter, Malinda Driskell, Gainesville, GA; and brother, James Wade, Shady Dale, CA. 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives also survive.

A graveside service for Mr. Wade is scheduled for 11 AM Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Hall County.

Rev. James Hatcher and Cody Pardue will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA from 2 PM until 4 PM and 6 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.
