J. Willard Wall

Funeral services for J. Willard Wall, age 86, of the Batesville Community will be held on Monday, June 15, 2015 at 3:00 PM from the Providence Baptist Church. Rev. Terry Rice and Rev. Scott Doster will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery. 

Mr. Wall passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at his residence. 

Born in Rabun County on March 11, 1928, Mr. Wall was the son of the late Jessie Homer & Ellie Mae Eller Wall.  Mr. Wall was a self employed farmer and he was a member of Providence Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Wall is preceded in death by son Willie Lee Wall, sisters Lizzie Howell, Lillie Rogers, Mae Belle Burton, Marie Barnette, and Ruth Davis. 

Survivors include his wife Lougene Wood Wall of Batesville, daughters and sons in law Regina and Randy Stamey of Batesville and Willene and Jim Keel of Toccoa, son and daughter in law Dennis and Robin Wall of Mt. Airy grandson and wife Trent and Hailey Wall, granddaughters and husbands Katrina and Richard Conway, Sarabeth and Brian Fowler, Rebecca and Iain Cresswell, and Kelli and Kyle Edwards, ten great grandchildren, special niece Barbara Spivey and several nephews and nieces. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 14, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM and from 6:00 - 9:00 PM.
