Barbara Ann Ansley

Barbara Ann (Shope) Ansley age 81 of Gainesville, Ga. passed away Saturday June 6, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Ansley was born December 18, 1933 in Gainesville, Ga., she was a devout Christian and a Charter member of Rock Hill Congregational Holiness Church. She enjoyed working within her church and taught Sunday school for many years, she had served as Womens Ministries president and church secretary. She also enjoyed gospel music, gardening, sewing and crafts. She had worked in packing & shipping for Cummings Diesel Engines. She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years - James Gary Ansley, Son and Daughter in law - Clayton and Carolyn Shope of Gainesville,  Son and Daughter in law - Don and June Shope of Hartwell, Daughter and Son in law - Debra and Rudy Tomlin of Gainesville, Sister Mary Barlowe also of Gainesville. Grandchildren - Anthony and Shelley Shope, Stacey and Mark Austin, Dustin and Jennifer Shope and Halie Shope. Great-Grandchildren, Clay Shope, Trace Austin, Carlee  Shope, Alivia Shope and Valerie Shope. A number of Nieces and nephews also survive.
