Mrs. Theo Holcomb Smith, age 69, of Buford, GA passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years, Richard B. Smith, a retired fireman; parents, Ben and Clara Duncan Holcomb; sister, Jeanette Holcomb; and brother, John Holcomb. She is survived by her children, Richard (Ricky) Smith, Jr., Buford, GA; and Scott Smith, Flowery Branch, GA; grandchildren, Richard Boyce Smith, III, Hillary Smith, Olivia Smith, and Hayley Smith; sister, Faye Hughes, Mableton, GA; brothers and sisters-in-law, Duffy and Ann Holcomb, Toccoa, GA, and Wade and Mabel Holcomb, Toccoa, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Carneige Hulsey, Toccoa, GA; uncle, Howard and Jo Duncan, Palm Harbor, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Smith was born June 28, 1945 in Toccoa, GA. She was a 1963 graduate of Stephens County High School. She was a retired secretary from Boeing Aircraft and a member of New Bethany Baptist Church, Buford, GA. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Lail officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
