Sue Fields Heard

Sue Fields Heard, age 65, of Dacula, GA passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015. She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Fields; and grandparents, Lonnie Son and Thermos Mitchell, and Lawson and Edith Fields. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Heather Heard, Dacula, GA, and Chris and Nara Heard, Alpharetta, GA; grandchildren, Amelia Heard, Ella Heard, Audrey Heard, and Reese Heard; mother, Peggy Mitchell Weeks, Charlotte, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Vernon and Shirley Fields, Sugar Hill, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Heard was born April 10, 1949 in Sugar Hill, GA. She was a 1967 graduate of North Gwinnett High School and was retired as a logistics coordinator for Cooper Transportation Company in Hoschton, GA. She was a member of North Metro Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Bobby Linkous officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
