Michael Lee Nook Thompson

Alexander Funeral Home of Cleveland announces the death of Mr. Michael Lee Nook
Thompson, age 64 of Helen. Mr. Thompson passed away Thursday, February 12, 2015.
A celebration of life service is scheduled for 7:00pm, Sunday, February 15, 2015 in the
funeral home chapel. Michael was born in Lumpkin County on November 14, 1950 to
the late Fred Thompson and Nina Marie Thompson. He was a welder by trade and had
most of his life in Hall County. In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death
by his daughter, Crystal Dawn.
Survivors include his wife Janice Thompson of Helen; son, Joshua Pilgrim of Helen;
daughter and son in law, Tonya and Jason McCord of Cumming; brother, Dean
Thompson of North Carolina and sisters Shirley Thompson of Dahlonega and Carolyn
Marcus of Gainesville. Michael is also survived by his grandchildren Kaleb, Joseph,
Cole, Ethan, Taylor and Colton.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 5 to 7 pm
