Virginia Dell Denton

Ms.Virginia Dell Denton , age 62, of Homer, GA died Thursday, January 15, 2015 at her residence. Ms. Denton was born in Commerce to the late Pledger and Lena Trotter Shubert. She was an inspector for Oxford Industries.

Ms.Denton is survived by her children, Nina Grogan and Nick Denton both of Homer; sisters, Dixie Merck and Betty Broshire both of Homer; fiance, Melvin Bowen of Homer; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Saturday, January 17 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Denton officiating. Interment will follow in Silver Shoals Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday night from 6 to 8 PM.
