Bess M. Tate

Bess M. Tate, age 83, of Buford, GA passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015. She is survived by her children, Cathy and Wayne Petty, Buford, GA, Barbara and Alan Miller, Buford, GA, and Betty and Marvin Garner, Lilburn, GA; grandchildren, Tammy and Homer Bush, Tanya and Vidal Gonzalez, Zachary Miller, and Tal Garner; and six great grandchildren. Ms. Tate was born May 6, 1931 in Hampton, VA. She was a homemaker and member of Lakeland Baptist Church, Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
