Mrs. Vera Culberson Fuller, age 95, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 4, 2015 in Talmo Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Bruce Fields and Reverend Jason Harrison will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Mrs. Fuller was born September 26, 1919 in Jefferson, Georgia, the daughter of the late Robert M. and Mattie (Sears) Culberson. She was a graduate of Martin Institute in Jefferson and Georgia State College for women, Milledgeville. Mrs. Fuller worked for a number of years for the Federal Government receiving commendation for outstanding service. While living in Milledgeville she was affiliated with Moore Newspapers Inc., after returning to Gainesville she worked with the Federal Land Bank now known as Ag First Farm credit from which she retired. She volunteered with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, a number of First Baptist Church classes and the Winsome Sunday School Class. She was a member of the Legion Auxilliary.
Mrs. Fuller was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence W. Fuller and six brothers, Royce, W.J., Fred, Edgar, Claude and Ralph.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Nita Fuller; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Harry Conley; granddaughter and husband, Julie and Robert McIntyre; grandson, Nicholas Fuller; grandson and wife, Christopher and Allison Conley; granddaughter & husband, Holly (Conley) and Chad Bradley; granddaughter and husband, Kelly and Jason Harrison; great-grandchildren, Haley McIntyre, Cale Conley, James Harrison, Kenley Harrison, Caleb Harrison and Seth Harrison.
