James Virgil Myers

Mr. James Virgil Myers, age 64 of 1185 Cobb Bridge Road, Westminster, South Carolina passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

A son of the late Fred Burns Myers and Luna Beatrice Todd Myers, he was born March 4, 1950 in Greensboro, Georgia having lived most of his life in Oconee County, South Carolina. He was retired, self-employed in retail sales and was a member of Old Country Church in Westminster. He was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine Bushy.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Brenda Rholetter Myers; daughter, Kimberly Smallwood of Seneca, South Carolina; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Laura Myers of Westminster, South Carolina; grandchildren, Katie Finley, Allison Finley, Brooke Smallwood, Sara Myers, Ethan Myers and Jacob Myers; brother, Jimmy Lee Myers of Anderson, South Carolina; two sisters, Lona Jean Griffin of Seneca, South Carolina and Hattie Dean Elgin of Anderson, South Carolina.

Graveside services Tuesday, December 30, 4:30 PM at Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Delbert McCall, The Reverend Jimmy Rholetter and the Reverend Frank Crowe officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Jimmy Rholetter, Phil Rholetter, Roy Carter, Wesley Myers and Shane Myers.

The family will be at the home of Keith and Laura Myers, 248 Holly Hill Drive, Westminster, South Carolina.

Interment will be in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. James Virgil Myers.
