Willie Mae Yearwood Crump

Mrs. Willie Mae Yearwood Crump, age 82 of 1471 E. Tugalo Street, Toccoa, GA, passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at the Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Clayton, GA.

Daughter of the late Willis Arvle and Ila Gussie Richard Yearwood, she was born May 24, 1932 in Stephens County where she lived all of her life. She was a 1951 graduate of the Stephens County High School and retired from WABCO, a Charter Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Shiloh Fire Department and a member of Shiloh Fire Department Board of Directors. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther David Crump who passed away in June of 2014, and by a brother Marvin Yearwood and a sister-in-law Doris Crump.

Survivors include her son Willis Knox Crump of Toccoa, two brothers, Arthur (Mattie) Yearwood of Tucker, GA, Floyd (Betty) Yearwood of Toccoa, sister-in-law Mae Opal Crump of Carnesville, and special friends, Ed & Louise Purcell of Toccoa.

Memorial Services will be 5 PM Tuesday, October 21, 2014, at the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Mr. Gerald Calhoun and the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.
