Daniel Edward Sandidge, Sr.,

Daniel Edward Sandidge, Sr., age 70 of Clayton, passed away at Mountain View Nursing Home following an extended illness.


Mr. Sandidge was born June 25, 1944 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late William Joseph Sandidge, Sr. and the late Anna Mae Simerly Sandidge. He served in the Merchant Marines and was retired from the Dillard House as a cook. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Sandidge is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Ellie Sandidge of Gainesville; granddaughters, Dani Sandidge, Ashleigh Stainback and Kristin Shelton; daughter, Gina Sandidge of Gainesville.
