Mrs. Dot was born in Bibb County but had spent most of her life in Hall County. She was the daughter of the late A.C. Bell and Doris Bryan Bell. Mrs. Dot spent her life loving, serving, and caring about others. With a humbled servant's heart and a tireless, selfless attitude her life was a testimony to those who knew her. She carried with her a strength and a joy that only comes from a personal relationship with Jesus. Mrs. Dot brought out the best in every person she interacted with, always making them feel special and loved.

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Proverbs 31: 28-29
