Anita Perez Estrada

Anita Perez Estrada, age 80 of Gainesville, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, June 30, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Dwayne Payne will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, June 30, 2014 from 12 - 2 pm, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Texas.

Mrs. Estrada was born October 23, 1933 in Campbellton, Texas to the late Juan Perez and Adelina Guerra Perez. She was a homemaker and a member of New Walk Pentecostal Church. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Augustine Estrada, her sisters, Minnie Garcia and Sophie Pompa, her brother, Juan Perez and her daughters-in-law, Jody Estrada and Nancy Estrada.

Mrs. Estrada is survived by her children, Augustine (Mary) Estrada of Texas, Joe (Susan) Estrada of Texas, David (Amy) Estrada of Georgia, John Estrada of Georgia, Ernest Estrada of Florida, Roy Estrada of Texas, Raymond (Summer) Estrada of Gainesville, Sonny Estrada of Gainesville, Yolanda (Doug) Forester of Gainesville, Olga (Jerry) Cabe of Gainesville and Maria Peck of Gainesville, 27 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, special friends, Tina Pressley of Gainesville, Jackie T. Brock of Gainesville and Donna (aka) Peanut Taylor of Gainesville, sisters, Margaret Gutierrez, Evelyn Tanner and Mary Alice Peralta and her brothers, David Perez and Robert Perez.
