Dr. Oliver Ennis Goettee, Jr,

Dr. Oliver Ennis Goettee, Jr, age 81, passed away on June 24, 2014. He was a graduate of The Citadel and Emory University Dental School. He practiced dentistry in the Atlanta area for over 40 years. Ennis is survived by his 4 children; Milton Goettee of Lynchburg, TN, Jack Goettee of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Mary Moon of Johns Creek, GA and David Goettee of Cumming, GA; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, his sister, Meredyth Leaptrot of Decatur, GA and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:30pm on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Johns Creek United Methodist Church, 11180 Medlock Bridge Road, Johns Creek, GA 30097. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions to either The Citadel Foundation, 171 Moultrie Street, Charleston, SC 29409 (foundation.citadel.edu) or the American Cancer Society (donate.cancer.org).
