Cecil Dean

Alexander Funeral Home announces the death of Mr.Cecil Dean, age 74 of Cleveland. Mr. Dean passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00am,Friday, May 9, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Junior Abernathy officiating. A private interment will be held at Dukes Creek Baptist Church cemetery.

Cecil was born in White County on June 23, 1939 to the late Frank James Dean and Thelma Ramey Dean and was a longtime member of Dukes Creek Baptist Church. Cecil was faithful to his God, his family and his country, serving in and retiring with honor from the United States Air Force. In addition to his parents, Cecil is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Dean.

Survivors include his daughters, Kelly Stafford, Robin Hood and Renee Nelms, all of Cleveland; sister, Carolyn Watkins, Murrayville as 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 to 8pm.

It is requested that flowers be omitted and memorial donations be made to Childreach, 155 Plan Way, Warwick, RI 02886-9928
