Douglas Wayne 'Tommy' Gee

Douglas Wayne "Tommy" Gee, age 66, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.


Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Reverend Scott & Dawn McQueen will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 1, 2014 from 6 - 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Gee was born August 5, 1947 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Harold Lee Gee and Bonnie Savage Gee. He was previously employed with Wood Brothers Landscaping Service before he became disabled and was a member of The Lighthouse of Prayer. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Johnny Gee and his sister, Clara Mae Dunagan.

Mr. Gee is survived by his wife of 45 years, Susie Gee of Cleveland, daughters & sons-in-law, Kim & Stacy Bryant of Cleveland and Reverend Dawn & Scott McQueen of Cleveland, son & daughter-in-law, Wayne & Jamie Gee of Cleveland, grandchildren, Zak & Krystina McQueen of Memphis, Tennessee, Ashlee McQueen of Gainesville, Madison McQueen of Cleveland, Josh Gee of Cleveland, Gina Gee of Cleveland and Emma Grace Bryant of Cleveland, great-granddaughter, Kadence McQueen of Memphis, Tennessee, sister, Dolores Parsons of Gainesville, brother, Dallas Gee of Gainesville, brother & sister-in-law, Joe & Willie Gee of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.
