Selena Azzilee Charlton Kelso

Selena Azzilee Charlton Kelso, 92, of Dawsonville Georgia, went to be with The Lord on March 10 2014.
She was born June 15, 1921 in Henry County Tennessee to Grover and Beatrice Orr Charlton. She was married to James H. Kelso on October 14, 1939. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She dedicated her life to God, serving as a missionary and pastor's wife. She was very active in all church functions and served as a Deacon at Deer Creek Shores Presbyterian Church. Azzilee's love and devotion for her husband and family was unparalleled and her Godly influence will be felt for generations to come.
The family is deeply saddened but rejoicing now that she is with The Lord and reunited with many loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents Grover and Beatrice Charlton; brothers, Estel , Homer, James, Daris and Hal Charlton; sisters, Katherine Langston, Oyna Reeves and Rachel Broach; great-granddaughter, Michele Nicole McKague; and foster-daughter, Rikelma Reynolds.
She is survived by her husband, James H. Kelso; son, Edward Kelso and wife Mary; son, Michael Kelso and wife Gloria; daughter, Chila Reavis and husband David; daughter, Cindi Gulledge and husband Ken; 9 grandchildren, Sherri McKague, Sheree Parrish, John Kelso, Lucas Ramirez, Meadow Manley, Daniel Reavis, Kala McRae, Karli Gulledge and Kelsey Gulledge; 20 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister Betty Cameron and husband Ray; brother, Halton Charlton and Lorene Charlton.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Deer Creek Shores Presbyterian Church with reception to follow.
