Karen Panico

Karen Panico, age 51, of Rabun Gap, passed away February 5, 2014 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA.

Karen was born November 14, 1962 in Franklin N.C. the daughter of Patricia Kelly and the late John Kelly.

Karen was preceded in death by her father John Kelly. Karen is survived by her husband Kevin Panico Rabun Gap, GA; 3 Daughters Tara P. Henson (Lance), Kara Panico, Sara Panico all of Rabun Gap; Brothers Dennis Kelly, Franklin N.C., John Richard Kelly (Monique), Clayton GA; Sisters Lynn Kelly Wise (Bill), Pensacola, Fla., Sandra Million (Tim) Tiger GA. and one grandchild Lane Henson..

Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and she was a graduate of RCHS class of 1980. She also had a love for painting where she did fo finishes. She was a long time employee of the Clayton Pizza Hut and the Dillard House and was a certified personal trainer. Karen was a foster parent to 52 children. She won manager of the year award with the Deland Corp who operates 60 stores. Karen had a great love for the out doors and being on the farm.

The family will receive friends at Beck Funeral Home from 5:00 Until 8:00 PM, Friday, February 7, 2014; and services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday February 8, 2014 at The Dillard United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the Wesley Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the College Fund for Sara Rose Panico Care of Regions Bank Clayton, GA.
