Bertie Mae Roberts

Ms. Bertie Mae Roberts, age 85 of Falls Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Heritage Healthcare of Toccoa.

A daughter of the late James Clayton and Genie Thomason Roberts, she was born June 27, 1928 in Franklin County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Maybelle Manley and by five brothers, Luther, Fletcher, Frank, Doyle and John Henry Roberts and by a sister, Ruth Smith.

Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Dewey Coker of Toccoa, Georgia; a special friend, David Simmons and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 2, 4 O'clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Mr. Jonathan Webb officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Rance Roberts, Greg Coker, Allen Roberts, Hugh Bryant, Roy Hyde and David Roberts.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6 PM until 8 PM.
