Robert E. Mitchell, age 88 of Suwanee, GA died Thursday, December 26, 2013. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:30 AM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Rev. Danny Newbern will officiate. Interment will follow in Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The Family will receive Friends on Saturday, December 28, 2013 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the funeral home. Mr. Mitchell was preceded in death by the late Catherine Nasiatka. He is survived by his wife Matilda Mitchell, Suwanee. Daughter, Jacqueline Murdock, Dacula. Grand Daughters, Lisa McCoy, Lawrenceville, Kristy Budnick, St. Clair Shores, MI, and Jacquie Nasiatka, Algonac, MI. Grand Son, Steven Jurney, Braselton. Great Grand Children, Matthew and Ryan McCoy, Tommy and Katie Budnick, and Mitch and Ruby Jurney. Mr. Mitchell was a native of Detroit MI and had lived in the Atlanta area for the past 8 years. He was a retired engineer with Ford Motor Co. and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He loved his family and enjoyed playing golf.
