Wayne leaves behind to remember all of his "Pearls of Wisdom", his beloved children and their families:

He also leaves behind his brother Mike Lisle (wife Angela) of Carrollton, Ga.

He is preceded in death by two grandsons Daniel Goza and Mackenzie Lisle, and his brother Jerry Lisle of Lake Mary, Fl. (wife Evon)

His father was a civil engineer who worked on government dam construction projects throughout the U.S. From 1st-12th grade, Wayne attended 26 schools. The longest span at one school was his last 2 years, at Lake Worth High School, Florida. Remaining friends with this 1953 graduating classmates for the next 60 years was a great pleasure to him.

Wayne excelled in everything that he did with his competitive nature and desire do his best in all that God put before him.

He proudly served 3 years in the Army 82nd Airborne unit during the Korean War.

He studied Civil Engineering and attended Ga. Military College, Southern Technical Institute and Marshall School of Law.

He founded Lisle Associate General Contractors in Lawrenceville, where he designed and built hundreds of large, steel framed buildings.

With Jenetta, he was blessed to be able to travel for decades to wonderful countries worldwide, never meeting a stranger. Many times he was able fulfil his passion for golf by playing famous courses. This led him to eventually own 3 golf courses, one of which he designed and built.

In the 1950's, he played minor league baseball for the Baltimore Orioles. In 2007, he was inducted into the prestigious Norcross Baseball Hall of Fame. Recently, he enjoyed playing with his son on MSBL/MABL baseball with 40+ year old men, until the age of 77.

Wayne truly loved following his grandchildren around the State as they played various sports, seldom missing an event.

Prospect United Methodist Church was very special to him as he taught Sunday School, sang in the choir, and served with his church family in the work of the Lord, for over 35 years.

Wayne whole heartedly poured himself into loving God, his family, his church and friends. We will miss his zeal and passion to live life to the fullest, and his desire to help others to do the same. God truly blessed this little corner of the world with Wayne Lisle, who we will all greatly miss.
