Suzanne Langley Marshall

Obituary Date: Sunday, November 24, 2013

Suzanne Langley Marshall, 73, died November 24, 2013 after a short but fierce battle with ALS. She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Maurie Langley and her daughters, Kerri Lisa Marshall and Laurie Marshall Angell. Suzanne is survived by her sons, Jeff Marshall (Marcene) and Scott Marshall (Christy), her sister Jerry Minor and nephews Dutch Minor (Dee) and Kevin Minor. She held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren, Jenny Marshall Spivey (Candler), Alex Angell and Brendan Marshall. She was just getting to know and love two little great-grandchildren, Oliver and Max Spivey.

Suzanne was a native of Atlanta and proud of it. She raised her children on Delta, Coca-Cola, the Braves and the Falcons and All Things, Atlanta. Her home was a focal point of the neighborhood and filled with children and food and laughter. She was a Mother to Many and a Friend to Any. People were drawn to Suzanne - and she never let them down. She taught her children to love the arts and to love each other; to never start a fight but to surely finish one. She lead by example, teaching her children to be strong and self-reliant but most of all to be Sweet Girls and Good Boys. And she missed Her Girls - every day of her life. And now, She is with Them.

A Memorial Service for Suzanne Langley Marshall will be held Wednesday, November 27th at 2:00 in the Chapel of John's Creek Baptist Church. Visitation and viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 26th from 6-8:00 pm at Flanigan Funeral Home, in Buford. The family would like to thank ALL Those who made this journey with Suzanne. Thanks go out to the Homestead Hospice organization and to the Bowen Sunday School Class at JCBC. And a very special thanks, to Kristi Green, Our Own little Angel.
