William Henry (Hutch) Hutchinson

William Henry "Hutch" Hutchinson, age 74 of Demorest, passed away November 14, 2013, at his residence.

Born on July 18, 1939, in Evansville, Indiana, he was the son of the late Henry Dalton and Alice London Hutchinson. He was self-employed, having owned and operated The Ultimate Pro Wax Co. He was of the Christian faith, enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and was also an avid University of Florida Gators fan. Mr. Hutchinson served his country proudly in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Kazakos Hutchinson; previous wife, Shirley Ann Hutchinson; infant daughter, Kimberly Dawn Hutchinson.

Surviving are children, Michael Hutchinson, Sheila & Chris Williams and Starr & Chase Williamson all of Jacksonville, FL, Wendy Hoover of Newnan, Chad & Tara Hutchinson of Demorest, and Brandy & Joe Lee of Sherrills Ford, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Faye & Tim Seals of Athens; grandchildren, Megan Hutchinson, Abby Hutchinson, Erica, Kellie, & Ryan Lee, Erika and Aaron Williamson, Johnathon, Jessica, & Rylee Hoover; great grandson, Jaxon Lemons.

Funeral services are 4:00 pm Saturday, November 16, 2013, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Pastor Chris Stephens officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Grant Reeves VFW Post #7720, Habersham County American Legion Post #84, Rabun County DAV Chapter #15, and the Georgia National Guard.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Research Fund, PO Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950.
