Sarah Ann Carter Irvin

Funeral services for Sarah Ann Carter Irvin, age 87, of Demorest will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 28, 2013 from the Chattahoochee Baptist Church. Rev. Russ Barker and Rev. George Dean will officiate with interment to follow the service in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Irvin went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2013.

Born in Banks County, Georgia on December 16, 1925, Mrs. Irvin was the daughter of the late Eddie and Willie Murray Carter. Mrs. Irvin was a retired seamstress from International Outerwear and she was a member of Chattahoochee Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Minyard Edward Irvin.

Survivors include daughter and son in law Gail and David McElroy of Hartwell, daughter Joyce Heimberger of Clarkesville, sons and daughters in law Mike and Ellen Irvin and Doug and Pat Irvin all of Clarkesville, as well as seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
