Harold Joseph Phillips

Mr. Harold Joseph Phillips age 65 of Flowery Branch passed away on Thursday June 20, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.


Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday June 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Mulberry Baptist Church. Reverend James Weaver will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday June 22, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Phillips was born on December 24, 1947 in Gwinnett, Georgia to the late Hoyt Clay Phillips and Lois Hanson Phillips. He was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church and was disabled. He is preceded in death by his father, daughter, Gwendolyn Phillips, son, Chris Phillips

Mr. Phillips is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Chance Smith of Homer, son, Kenneth Phillips of Gainesville, Several Grandchildren, mother, Lois Hanson Phillips of Flowery Branch, sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Tommy Lee of Flowery Branch, sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Paul Shadburn of Buford, sister and brother-in-law, Delores and Donny Kimbrell of Cornelia, brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Jamie Phillips of Flowery Branch, brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Connie Phillips of Flowery Branch, brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Deborah of Phillips of Gainesville, brother, Billy Phillips of Gainesville, brother, Tony Phillips of Gainesville, a number of nieces and nephews.
