Nancy Louise Scheidt

Obituary Date: Saturday, May 18, 2013

Nancy Louise Scheidt, age 62, of Cumming, Georgia, formerly an Indiana resident, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013. She had been hospitalized since December 2012.

Nancy was born in Columbus, Indiana where she attended St Peters Lutheran School and Columbus High School. She was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed and had many friends and relatives. Nancy enjoyed happy childhood memories with her grandparents on their family farm, was a friend to every four-legged creature, loved playing cards and created beautiful needlework. Nancy had an engaging personality and winsome sense of humor. She moved to Georgia with her parents, Imogene and Herschel Scheidt in 2007. She is survived by her parents and brother, Dennis, also a resident of Cumming.



Surviving also are four nieces and seven nephews, sons and daughters of Dennis and Monica Scheidt. They are Mandy (Smith) of Thailand; Katherine (Schuber) of Athens, GA; Diana and Josephine Scheidt of Atlanta, Eric Scheidt of Tennessee; Nathan Scheidt of New York City; Dennis K. Scheidt Jr. of Columbia, SC; and Deke, Zachary, Adam, and Isaac Scheidt of Atlanta. Nancy also leaves behind an uncle, an aunt and numerous cousins.



The family will receive visitors at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming on Tuesday, May 21 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Nancy's funeral will be next Saturday in Columbus, Indiana, at St Paul's Lutheran Church, 6045 East State Street, Columbus, Indiana at 11:00 AM. The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Following the service, the internment will take place in Garland Brook Cemetery.



The Ingram Funeral Home of Cumming, Georgia and Jewell-Rittman Funeral Home of Columbus, Indiana, are co-ordinating the arrangements for the Scheidt family.
