Joshua Clinton Tomlin

Joshua Clinton Tomlin, age 35 of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at his residence.

Mr. Tomlin was born May 4, 1977 in Stephens County to Cokie Leon and Marilyn Byers Tomlin. He was an electrician and floor technician. Mr. Tomlin was a member of New Bridge Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Bunk and Lucille Tomlin, maternal grandfather Francis Byers.

Survivors include in addition to his parents, son, Kenyon David Tomlin, Cleveland; sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Ricky Freeman; Rockmart; brother, Chuck Stevens, Cornelia; maternal grandmother, Idell Byers, Douglasville; special cousin, Elizabeth Howard, Sautee; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, April 20, 2013 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Freeman will officiate. Interment will follow in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday and all day Saturday until time of the service at the funeral home.
