Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday April 19, 2013 in Wards Funeral Home Chapel for Elton Jeffery Hawkins, 56, of Gillsville, GA.

Rev. Marshal Dale will officiate and Burial will follow in Timber Ridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday 6pm - 9pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Hawkins passed away Tuesday April 16, 2013.

Mr. Hawkins was born in Jackson County and had lived all of his life in Hall County.

He retired from the City of Gainesville Water Department and held many certificates in water treatment. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors are mother and step father Sarah & Arnold Martin of Gillsville, father Dickerson "Dick" Hawkins of Gillsville, brother & sister-in-law John & Karen Hawkins of Gillsville, sister Cheryl Hawkins of Rome, GA, 4 Nieces, 2 Nephews and a number of other relatives.
