George Edward Broome

Funeral services for, George Edward ( Papa Smurf ) Broome age 71 of Lula, Ga. will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday April 6, 2013 in Strickland Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation was at the funeral home April 5, 2013.

Mr. Broome died Thursday April 4, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. He was a retired electrician and was a member of the Holiness Faith. He is survived by his wife, Marie Broome, his daughters, Lisa Batcher, Larul Mathews, Lyn Kidd, Linda Passmore, Sons, Larry Broome, Steve Palmer. One sister, Lula Lawson, his brother, Harvey Galloway.
