Charlotte Ann 'Lolly' Abercrombie

Charlotte Ann "Lolly" Abercrombie, 59, of Dawsonville passed away Thursday March 21, 2013 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a short illness.

Born March 10, 1954, she was a lifelong resident of Dawson County. Lolly worked in medical billing for over 35 years and most recently worked for Dr. Wherry and Dr. Whitfield in Dahlonega. She was a devoted wife who enjoyed a great love for cooking and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Lolly was preceded in death by her father, Eugene "Fig" Gee.

Surviving are her husband of 35 years, Danny Abercrombie, Dawsonville; special nephew and his wife, Steve and Stephanie Abercrombie, Athens; mother, Margaret Ann Gee, Dawsonville; brothers, Charles Eugene "Bull" Gee, Dawsonville, Bobby Sheffield, Dawsonville, brothers in law, James Abercrombie, Mark Abercrombie; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday March 24, 2013 at 3 o'clock at Liberty Baptist Church. Rev. Rodney Pilcher will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 until 8 at the funeral home.
