Charles Edwin Davis

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Charles Edwin Davis, 80, of Hoschton, Ga., who passed away Monday, March 11, 2013.



Mr. Davis was born in Atlanta, Ga. a son of the late Thomas Andrew and Annie Mae Joiner Davis. Mr. Davis retired from Dobbins Air Force Base as the Chief of Christ Rescue Department after many years of service. Mr. Davis was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Jefferson, Ga.



Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Davis, Hoschton, Ga., Daughters, Janis Dack, Shady Dale, Ga., Judy Fisher, Covington, Ga., Son, Scott Davis, Ball Ground, Ga., Step Daughters, Ann Mell, Lawrenceville, Ga. and Linda Cash, Flowery Branch, Ga., sister, Dorothy Felts, Duluth, Ga., 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.



Funeral services will Tuesday March 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Alewine officiating. Interment will follow at Arrington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, Ga. The family will receive friends on Monday March 11, 2013 at the funeral home from 7-9 P.M.
