Robert Leroy (Bob) Rhyne

Funeral services for Robert Leroy "Bob" Rhyne, age 90, of Clarkesville, will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from the Hillside Memorial Chapel. Rev. Tommy Stowe will officiate with interment to follow the service in Hillside Gardens Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Georgia Military Honors Funeral Team. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the funeral on Thursday from 1-2 PM.

Mr. Rhyne died Tuesday, March 5, 2013.

Born on January 13, 1923, Mr. Rhyne was the son of the late Walter and Vivian Hendricks Rhyne. Mr. Rhyne was a United States Army veteran having served during WWII. He worked with the Jacksonville Electric Authority and he was a chief electrical inspector for the City of Coral Gabels, Florida. Mr. Rhyne was a member of the Electrical Inspectors Association. He was also a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Rhyne is preceded in death by son in law Johnny O'Dell and brother David "Chuck" Rhyne.

Survivors include his wife Jeri Simpson Rhyne of Clarkesville, daughter Jeannie O'Dell of Lawrenceville, son Mark Rhyne and wife Darlene of Duluth, granddaughter Vanessa and grandsons Jesse, Jared, James, and Jordyn.
