Terry Preston Moore

Mr. Terry Preston Moore age 69 of Gainesville passed away on Monday January 21, 2013 at his residence following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday January 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in West View Cemetery, Lula, Ga. Reverend Drewery Loggins will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday January 23, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Moore was born on December 09, 1943 in Lula, Georgia to the late Thomas Howard Moore and Minnie Miller Moore. He was a retired insurance agent and was a member of Harmony Hall Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, J.D. Moore, Clyde Moore, Bob Moore, Albert Moore, sisters, Ruby Nell Smith and Blonnie Davis.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Anglin Moore of Gainesville, daughter and son-in-law, Tabitha Moore Maddox and John H. Maddox Jr. of Gillsville, daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Moore Scroggs and Jimmy Scroggs of Gainesville, grand-children, Devin and Jordan Maddox and Jillian Scroggs, great-granddaughter, Iris Warman, sister, Bernice Harkins of Gainesville, sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Bobby Moore of Gainesville, brother, Aaron Moore of Lula and a host of nieces and nephews.
