John Daniel Hatcher

Mr. John Daniel Hatcher, age 77, of Sugar Hill, GA, born on August 18, 1935 and passed away on January 1, 2013.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Hatcher; son, Ronnie Hatcher; parents, Eulee and Essie Hatcher; and brothers, Elesik, Charles and Remla Lee Hatcher. He is survived by son, Johnny Hatcher and wife, Barbara Hatcher, Jefferson, GA; daughter, Judy Camp, Sugar Hill, GA; son, Jimmy Hatcher and wife, Cheryl, Jefferson, GA; sister, Netta Jean O'Toole of Sneeds, FL; brothers, Lafayette Hatcher, Pensacola, FL, James Hatcher of Knox City, TX; Wayne Hatcher, Montgomery, AL and Raymond Hatcher, Sneeds, FL; two grandchildren, Courtney Lancaster, and husband, Nick and Chad Hatcher Krish; four step grandchildren, Sammy Graham, Amie McClure, Tosha Ramey, and Nekeia Ramey; great grandchildren, Caylee Small, Caleb and Camryn Lancaster; four step grandchildren and eight step great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Hatcher was a member of Buford Church of Christ and was born in Pansy, AL. He retired from Allied Van Lines after thirty-three years of service. He was also employed with Gwinnett County Transportation as a special needs bus manager for the past thirteen years.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Buford Church of Christ with remains placed in state at 2:00 p.m. and with Mr. James Hatcher and Mr. Jimmy Miller officiating and eulogy by Mr. Steve Snider. Interment will follow at Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Buford, GA.
