Leonard R. Motes

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Leonard R. Motes, age 82, of Winder, who passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2012.

Mr. Motes was born in Jefferson, GA, a son to the late John Manual and Cleo Motes. Mr. Motes was a retired Truck Driver for the Frito-Lay Corporation. Mr. Motes was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Belle Ledford Motes.

Survivors include his daugter, Linda Austin, Flowery Branch, sons, Charles Motes, Winder, David Russell Motes, Kentucky, stepson, David Motes, Jonesboro, 11 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 2pm at the Graveside in the Dry Pond United Methodist Church Cemetery.
