Carolyn P. (Mrs. Carol) Denton

Mrs. Carolyn P. (Mrs. Carol) Denton, age 56 of Maysville died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Denton was born in New Jersey to Irene Cowart Pace of Commerce and the late Horace Pace. Mrs. Denton was a retired school teacher and a member of Community Baptist Church.

Mrs. Denton is survived by her husband, Tommy Dorsey Denton of Maysville; daughters, Kelly Denton Reynolds of Homer and Heather Denton Moss of Demorest; brothers, David and John Pace both of Commerce; sisters, Cathy Bruce of Lula and Barbara King of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Kacey Reynolds, Makayla Moss, and Matthew Moss, Jr.

Funeral service will be Sunday, Dec. 30 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. David Harbin officiating with the interment following at Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday night from 6-8 PM.
