Ralph Enloe

Ralph W. Enloe, age 94 of Cornelia, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Habersham County Medical Center.

Born in Franklin, NC on October 01, 1918, he was the son of the lateCharles D. and Rebecca Vance Enloe. Mr. Enloe was a member of Cornelia United Methodist Church and was retired from the US Postal Service in Cornelia and Gainesville. Mr. Enloe served his country proudly in the United States Army during World War II as an engineer in Italy. He was also a Past Commander of the former Habersham Chapter of the Disabled American Veterans. He also enjoyed gardening and woodworking.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Enloe was also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Mae Drinnon Enloe; son, Charles David Enloe; three brothers and one sister. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Survivors include son, James Vance Enloe of Toccoa; daughter and son-in-law, Freda and Victor Mihill of Adelphia, MD; grandchildren, David, Mark and Tim Mihill, Scott Enloe and Melissa McCain; seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services are 3:00 pm Saturday, December 01, 2012, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Randy Drinnon officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens with full military honors provided by the Rabun County Disabled American Veterans Chapter #15, the Habersham County American Legion Post #84 and the Grant Reeves VFW Post #7720 as well as the Georgia National Guard.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Friday.
