Eleanor Elizabeth Kendall Seabolt

Obituary Date: Monday, November 5, 2012

Eleanor Elizabeth Kendall Seabolt, of Dahlonega, Georgia passed from this world on Monday, November 5, 2012.

At her side and to the end, angels - her loving husband and daughters - helped her fight a courageous battle for life. While in the end the battle was lost, victory still prevailed. The strong principles and values she possessed will live on in the legacy of those left behind. She was a lifelong homemaker, devoted wife, and loving mother and nana. Eleanor loved helping and watching things grow. From flowers and vegetables to children and grandchildren, she possessed the greenest of thumbs. She experienced - and shared - a life well lived.

Bryan and Enoch Hicks; grandson Jeff M. Bryan.

She is survived by her beloved husband Loy L. Seabolt; daughter Lawana Bryan, daughter and son-in-law Gina and Scott Masters; stepdaughter Brenda Hicks; grandchildren Blake and Erin Masters, Dustin Masters, Ashley Bryan, Rick and Michele Carney, Eric and Toni Hicks, Brett Hicks, and Mark Hicks. Great grandchildren Lauren Carney, Leah Carney, Erick Carney, Paschal Hicks, and Anna Cathyrn Hicks; sisters Lela K. Crenshaw and Estelle K. Bagwell; brother and sister-in-law J.B. and Drucilla Kendall; sister and brother-in-law Hazel and Harold Collins; sister-in-law Ethyl Kendall; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. She also leaves behind her faithful companion and precious "baby," her dog Sparky.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Dahlonega Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.

A ceremonial release of doves will be held after the service. Interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Gainesville.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Dahlonega's Nimblewill Baptist Church, c/o Robert Coker, 2897 Nimblewill Church Road, Dahlonega, or United Hospice of Gainesville, 700 South Enota Drive, Gainesville.
