Anthony Vento

Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, announces the death of Anthony Vento, 67, of Homer who passed away at his residence on Friday.

Born in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Anthony John and Mary Pampeno Vento and was married to Carolyn Saunders Vento of the residence. Other survivors include his children, Kathryn Vento of Carnesville, David Vento of Homer and Todi Vento King of Commerce, grandchildren, Chelsey Flynn, Nicholas Flynn and Aaron Vento, sisters, Carol Daver, Mary (Jay) Lott and Darlene (Phil) Whittle, an uncle, Angelo (Sally) Vento, aunts, Louise Costa and Helen (Bud) Powers, several nieces and nephews and many, many cousins. Close friends include Kevin Cape, Don Scales, Winfred Popphan and Clarence Simpson.

Mr. Vento was a veteran of the US Marine Corp. and served in Vietnam. Mr. Vento was cremated and a Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date.
