Connie Fay Smith

Connie Fay Smith, age 47 of Gainesville, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Mike Gaines will officiate.

Ms. Smith was born March 18, 1965 in Gainesville, GA to Roy J. Smith and Gladys Gilleland Smith. She worked for Fieldale Farms and was of the Baptist Faith. She is preceded in death by her brother, Scottie Smith.

Ms. Smith is survived by her daughter, Jessica Bryant of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and William Connolly of Gainesville; daughter, Stephanie Bryant of Gainesville; granddaughter, Shelby Grace Johnson of Gainesville; parents, Roy J. and Gladys Smith of Gainesville; sister, Sandra Lawson of Cleveland; brothers, Ronnie Jay Smith and William Smith, both of Gainesville and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.



Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
